Patiño already has everything organized to host next Sunday the traditional Meeting of Cuadrillas, Manuel Cárceles Memorial "El Patiñero", promoted by Peña La Hijuela, which this year reaches the XXIX edition.

The crews will gather at 9.30 in the church atrium, where they will sing until the beginning of the Aguilando Mass, scheduled half an hour later, to be officiated by the parish priest, Ángel Mateos.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, and until it is time to taste the turkey balls with broth, the groups will continue with the performances, which will resume after 16 hours in their respective positions.

This year the Huercal Overa crews will participate;

Isla Plana y Baranda, Cartagena;

Campos de San Juan, El Sabinar, and Calar de la Santa, Moratalla;

Along with the groups of Patiño, Sangonera the Green and Los Cardosos, and the group of Aledo.

115 women will be responsible for the preparation of the balls, distributed in 18 groups.

To these are added another 10 neighbors of the hamlet that will make the traditional chocolate.
