The working group for the rehabilitation and social integration of the Polygon of La Paz will hold its first meeting on January 18.
Its task will be to establish the lines and criteria that will govern the aspects of the recovery and new provisions of the neighborhood, as well as the projects of integration and involvement of the residents in these actions.
The commission will be chaired by the Mayor, who can delegate to the Councilor for Urban Planning, Environment and Huerta, and will be composed of Councilors of Social Rights;
Employment, Tourism and Culture;
Education, Relationship with Universities and Heritage;
And Fomento, as well as technicians from these areas and Urbanism, representatives of the State Administration and the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, and municipal political groups.
Members of the official schools of Architects, Technical Architects, Economists and Social Work, the City Council and the President of the Municipal Board will also be represented on the table.
Likewise, delegates will be part of the owners associations Nuevo Barrio, 50th anniversary Polygon of La Paz and Biennial Meroño Marín and others.
In the next few days, these entities will have to communicate the name of the representative they designate to join the table which, at its first meeting, will analyze the current situation and constitute the working group and approve a schedule of proposals.
The creation of this commission was unanimously approved by the Plenary held last October.
