The Governing Board has today approved the awarding of the works to renovate the lighting of the Carretera de Alicante and the Carril de Garrofero in El Esparragal.
This project of the Department of Development will consist of the installation of a new luminaire of led type, with greater visibility and lower consumption.
The road of Alicante, as it passes through the area of ​​El Esparragal, currently has only 8 points of light and lacks this service in an approximate length of 450 meters, so that a total of 23 new points will be installed, With a total power of 2,277 W.
The current consumption in the Road of Alicante, with 8 points of light of 165 W. of power, is of 4,800 kwh annual.
The 23 points to be installed will generate an electrical energy consumption of 5,100 kWh, which means that almost triple the light points (23 in front of 8 and 250 m, illuminated before in front of 700 m, illuminated afterwards) will only increase Of the consumption of 6%.
The Garrofero lane does not currently have public lighting and it is planned to install 12 new points, with a total power of 516 W.
The works will be carried out by Electromur SA within 4 months and for the amount of 48,793 euros.
