The Department of Traffic and Public Safety, directed by Lola Sánchez, will carry out repainting works of horizontal signage on large vials of the municipality.
The work to be carried out are both the replacement and execution of new signaling elements, important for the maintenance of safety conditions in the circulation of these roads, being elements subject to wear by traffic and inclemencies.
Thus, this plan will be developed in the Plan of San Francisco, Avenue Teniente Flomesta, Paseo Garay, Princesa, Floridablanca, City of Almería, Gran Vía Escultor Salzillo, Avda., Ceballos, Isidoro de la Cierva, Alejandro Séiquer, Avda. Fama, Mayor Jorge Palacios, Ronda Levante, Avda. May, Circular Square, Ronda Norte, Primo de Rivera, Avda. Miguel de Cervantes, Avda. De los Pinos, Av. Mariano Rojas, Av. Marina Española, Avda. Almirante Loaysa, Avda. De los Dolores, Avda. Miguel Induráin, Avda. Reino de Murcia and Avda. De Santa Catalina.
These works will consist of making visible those horizontal signs that are worn out, in pedestrian crossings and in islets, detention bands, lanes of separation of lanes and other road markings as yields and stops.
In this way, it will improve the display of the signage, increasing the safety of pedestrians and drivers, thus ensuring the normal development of road traffic and pedestrian traffic.
The Department of Traffic will invest in these works more than 76,000 euros, with a term of execution of two months.
