The proposal for the development and commercialization of an intraocular lens (Dioptis), presented by the student of ADE and Law Gabriel Valencia, has won the III Prize CIM-Chair of Entrepreneurs of the University of Murcia (UMU).
In addition to this prize, with 1.000 euros, grants have been awarded to projects Infoart: audioguide of museums, made by Marcelo Orenes, student of the Faculty of Information Technology, and IM Luthier on musical instrumentation, by Iván Martínez, Faculty of Education.
The other projects have been Kronohealht, in the field of chronobiology, by María José Martínez (Faculty of Biology);
Sports Mentality, by Clara López, from the Faculty of Psychology;
The project of an app for the promotion of environmental tourism, by Claudia Pallarés (Environmental Sciences);
The proposal to create the restaurant D'Origen, María del Pino and Jessica de la Cruz (Tourism School), and the Linemur project presented by Santiago López, Ulises Fuentes and Joaquín Gómez (all three of the ADE and Law degree).
The awards ceremony was held at the Center for Municipal Initiatives during an event presided by the director of the Chair of the UMU Entrepreneurs Antonio Aragón and the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture of the City of Murcia, Jesús Pacheco.
