The Board of Governors, through the Department of Social Rights, directed by Conchita Ruiz, has approved the list of administrative clauses for the provision of socio-health services in the Day Care Centers of Barriomar, Beniaján and Cabezo de Torres , Guaranteeing adequate attention to the elderly and dependent.
In the same, it is contemplated a substantial improvement for the 100 users of these Centers, namely, an increase in the number of weekly hours of dedication of all the direct social-health care professionals (physiotherapist, social worker, psychologist, ATS / DUE, Nursing Assistants and Occupational Therapist).
For this improvement, the City of Murcia will invest an amount that exceeds 400,000 euros per year is for all three centers.
In the Barriomar and Cabezo de Torres Centers, the dedication of weekly hours of care of the Social Worker, Psychologist and Physiotherapist increases by 150%, in the ATS increases by 300%, Nursing Assistants increase their hours by 33% And 60% in the case of the Occupational Therapist.
On the other hand, in the Center of Beniaján, the weekly dedication of the Social Worker, Psychologist and Fisio increases by 100%, the ATS-DUE by 233% and the Nursing and Occupational Therapist Assistants by 33%.
In the same way, improvements are also made in terms of the maintenance service (breakfast, lunch and snack), which will no longer be paid in full by users as it has been until now to be financed by the Administration, being included as one more The socio-sanitary services that the users receive in the Center.
The sheet also includes improvements related to the service provided in the Centers, especially lunch at noon, to make it attractive, appetizing and of the highest quality for the beneficiaries.
