29 companies have participated in the competition called by the City Council for the expansion of the works and its tender, whose investment amounts to 1.8 million euros will be developed jointly with a social project aimed at the inhabitants of the neighborhood.
The project provides for the rehabilitation of 259 homes, 61 of them municipal, which are distributed in 10 blocks of buildings and its intervention has a lead time of 7 months.
The works will be financed by the City Council - which will contribute 62% -, the Ministry of Public Works - 31.5% - and the Autonomous Community - 6.5%.
On the other hand, the Board of Recruitment meeting this morning also has decided to propose the award of the contract for the adaptation of the motorcycle of the Segura River, left bank, for recreational use, to Construcciones Manuel Noguera, with a budget of 161,000 euros (excluding VAT) .
Once the company submits the documentation that has been requested, the proposal will be transferred to the Governing Board for adjudication.
The project will allow linking the Malecon and FICA through a new 2 kilometer bike lane, which is the length that separates them.
Thus, the Contraparada and Beniel will be united by means of a bicycle lane, of 26,5 kilometers, in an action that is part of the project of city "Murcia River".
