The University of Murcia (UMU) has signed an agreement with Cajamurcia Foundation for its collaboration in various activities promoted by the Center for Studies of the Middle East and Late Antiquity (CEPOAT) of the educational institution.
Among them, excavations in the Roman village of Villaricos (Mula), in the Iberian town of Coimbra of the Wide Barranco (Jumilla) and in the Roman city of Begastri (Cehegín), as well as the underwater archaeological survey in the Island of Inside Mazarron).
The economic amount provided by the Foundation will also be devoted to the publications "Antiquity and Christianity" and "The antiquity of Christian martyrs in the Roman Empire" and to the organization of the International Congress of Women in the Mediterranean.
CEPOAT develops its work in the field of orientalism from teaching, research, scientific dissemination and archaeological activity.
