191,764 impressions have reached the two videos that allow to contemplate the assembly and ignition of the great tree of 35 meters of height (and until 80 meters the virtual) that will illuminate Murcia during this Christmas.
In less than 24 hours, the audiovisual broadcast last night has registered, until 17 hours today, 147,974 views (almost 139,000 on Facebook and just over 9,000 on Twitter).
The second video, released this morning, totals 43,790 impressions.
Both of them have to add the 62,068 impressions that gathered the direct of the ignition of the tree that spread through the Facebook of the Mayor, becoming all an important tool of tourist promotion for the city.
To make possible the opening ceremony held yesterday, which brought together thousands of people in the Circular Square, it took eight days of work by a team of 26 people dedicated to the assembly of structures, lights, scenery, sound and vegetation.
All this, coordinated by the councils of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, and Employment, Tourism and Culture, led by José Guillén and Jesús Pacheco, respectively.
In order to achieve the intended illumination, there are 80 mobile heads and 52,700 low consumption LED points, 7 kilometers of led strips and 3 km of steel cable.
The tree also has 300 giant ornaments (star, bell, ball, cane, Santa Claus boot and Coin 750 Anniversary of the Council), 140 metal stars, 120 backlit flowerbeds and 800 Easter Flowers.
For the inauguration yesterday, chaired by the Mayor, José Ballesta, and with the assistance of numerous members of the Corporation, it was necessary to install 8 km of wiring, 30,000 watts of sound, 4 machines of smoke and confetti, 30 kilos of CO2 confetti And 5 km of foam.
Meeting place
During these fiestas, the tree will be a meeting place for the families of Murcia, attracted by three hundred audiovisual shows, magic performances and workshops where children and their families can learn, free of charge, to paint their own nativity figures, to elaborate Muffins and Christmas sweets, plant your own Christmas tree and enjoy pinatas, dances, theater, storytelling, concerts, carols and many more surprises.
It will also be a solidary tree, since all the Christmas will collect toys that children throughout Murcia want to donate, which will be distributed to other children who need them.
