The City of Murcia, through the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, has participated in the Information Day on European Youth, Youth Information and Social Networks, organized by Europa Direct (EURODESK), held in the Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses of Melilla.
Specifically, the head of Informajoven of the City of Murcia, Gabriel Navarro, gave a conference that showed the risks in the use of new technologies and the good management of mobile phones and social networks in the generation of adolescents who have Born in the digital age.
Based on an information and awareness campaign in social networks and new technologies, the event has dealt with topics such as ICT management, social network analysis and online reputation, among others.
From the service of the Informajoven, emphasis has been placed on the need to teach children and young people how to use critical technologies and platforms.
In addition, it is important to know the ways in which young people are given access to the media, their language and the way they share the information, to send them information of interest so that they share with their parents and friends that information of interest .
