The Governing Board this morning approved the supply of different vehicles and infrastructure through the central government procurement system of the General Direction of Rationalization and Centralization of Contracting of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function.

For this purpose, this general direction has been requested the acquisition of ten Z vehicles for the Local Police for a maximum amount of 277,816 euros.

These cars, model Citroën C4, will be equipped with radio-patrols and will replace similar vehicles allowing thus the fleet renewal.

They will be destined to the service of citizen security in both city and districts.

This is in addition to the already authorized supply, by the same procedure, of two passenger cars intended for neighborhood police and three industrial vehicles also destined to Local Police, amounting to more than 107,000 euros and another vehicle for the Consumer, Market and Places of Supply for 16,794 euros.

In addition, the Governing Board has approved the same provision of the central infrastructure for the expansion of data storage space and replicated backups.

This action will expand the space and maintenance of municipal servers, something necessary for the implementation of electronic administration.

This process is carried out thanks to an agreement with the Ministry to make centralized purchases of some products to make it more economically beneficial for the City Council.
