The Governing Council has approved, at the proposal of the Ministry of Development and Infrastructures, a subsidy for the implementation of improvements in the public service transport of line 52 that communicates the Molinense urbanization of Altorreal and the city of Murcia.
The objective is to guarantee the provision of the regular public transport service of passengers of general use and the access of the more than 10,000 people residing in the urbanization, a figure that equates it to other municipalities of the Region.
A total of six daily expeditions will be financed from Monday to Saturday throughout the year between Altorreal and the city of Murcia in the times of greater demand by the neighbors.
This fulfills a request from families living in Altorreal, where there are essential services for the day to day of its inhabitants, such as schools, homes for the elderly and youth housing.
For the month of December a subsidy of 6,333 euros is granted to the company providing the service of Transport of Travelers of Murcia SLU, which is included in the autonomic concession that connects the city of Murcia and its districts (MUR-093).
The Regional Government will collect in the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of 2017 the necessary items to finance the provision of this service.
