The students of the different degrees that the Higher Institute of FP San Antonio teaches have left this morning the classrooms to teach, in the Campus of the UCAM, some of the activities that they carry out during their formation and to be able to give visibility to the positive aspects and Quality of VET.

The event is part of the European Week of Vocational Training, under the title 'Discover your talent!', Celebrated by the institute at the initiative of the European Commission, and which are celebrating in other parts of Spain and Europe.

In the inaugural act have intervened José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM;

José María Albarracín, president of the CROEM;

José Alarcón, director of the Higher Institute of Professional Training San Antonio;

Alejandro Zamora, General Director of SEF Murcia;

And Fernando Mateo, director general of educational quality and vocational training in Murcia.

Also present at the event were Begoña Sánchez Suárez, Deputy Director General of the General Subdirectorate of Educational Quality and Vocational Training, and María Paz Sánchez-Migallón, Inspector of Education.

Fernando Mateo, general director of educational quality and vocational training in Murcia, who congratulated the UCAM for its 20th anniversary, stressed that in the Region of Murcia, in recent years, they are trying to give a major boost to the FP .

José Luis Mendoza recalled that the institution he represents has since bets on vocational training, and stressed that "we must fight so that graduates in Higher Education in Spain, are also recognized as belonging to the B scale , Since after having completed a baccalaureate and 2000 hours of teaching, they deserve to have that qualification.
