"The City Council makes an important budgetary effort to recover and expand the frequencies of lines 30 and 78 without increasing costs for travelers," says Ortiz
The agreement of the City Council and the Autonomous Community that has allowed to restore line 78, of the Southern Coast, and to increase the frequency of the line 30, aims to improve the service received by users without the need to increase costs for travelers.
That is the purpose of the agreement, which at no time collects any amount that is intended to hire drivers, despite the fact that the PSOE has said so.
Moreover, the second clause explicitly states that the City "does not acquire any type of economic responsibility except for funding in favor of the Autonomous Community, or administrative over the actual conditions of service provision."
In this regard, Councilor for Development, Roque Ortiz, warns that "the City Council makes an important budgetary effort to improve the public transport service to Murcia, without increasing costs for travelers."
It also recalls that the agreement, which entered into force only a month ago, regulates the creation of a monitoring committee that will ensure compliance with the service in the appropriate terms, and that it will meet when improvements in the service take a minimum of time to function .
