The University of Murcia (UMU) today held a minute of silence at the door of all its centers as a sign of revulsion for crimes of gender violence.
Today, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the UMU expresses its deep regret and pain for this scourge that has taken the lives of forty women so far in 2016.
The rector, José Orihuela, and members of the government team, including the vice rector of Social Responsibility, Transparency and Equality, María del Carmen López, and the director of the Unit for Equality, Eva María Rubio, as well as building staff.
