The Board of Governors has approved the list of clauses and requirements for the contracting of the service of replacement and repair of blinds in all public schools dependent on the City of Murcia.
For this replacement and the corresponding repairs, the City expects to invest 55,000 euros.
This action is in addition to the improvement work that Education carries out in the summer months, which aim at the conditioning of the centers for their perfect functioning during the school year.
In total, the Department of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, last summer acted in 23 educational centers, where it carried out maintenance and improvement works amounting to about 839,000 euros.
The works that have been carried out have consisted in repairing toilets, facades, interior painting, leaks, sanitation, metal and wooden locksmithing and fencing, among others.
