The Governing Board has given the green light to the beginning of the previous work that will allow the expansion of the Training and Employment Center of FICA.
To this end, it has approved the adjudication of the works of demolition of the workshops, warehouses and wall that will allow to increase the surface.
The Joint Youth Employment and Training Program, which is part of the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, will carry out the construction of the new classroom in FICA, with the aim of providing it with seven multi-purpose classrooms or management classrooms, And 100 square meters.
The new facilities will be equipped with audiovisual equipment and computers installed in network with Internet;
The lecture hall will also have toilets and dressing rooms, administration and archive office.
In this way, the Employment Service will be able to expand its training offer and adapt to the new certificates of professionalism.
Specifically, the 39 students - masonry factory specialties, auxiliary operations of continuous cladding in construction, plumbing and heating operations - domestic air conditioning and installation and maintenance of low voltage electrical installations - will develop a first phase of the collected actions In this project in which they will construct a classroom, office, file and toilets, that will be endowed with furniture by the specialty of works of carpentry and furniture.
The demolition is expected to be carried out in December, with the first phase of construction of the aularium starting in January, with completion scheduled for completion in May.
The demolition works will be carried out by Demoliciones D-Tres within a period of 15 days and for the amount of 10,614 euros.
