The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture has prepared the specifications to contract the supply, installation, maintenance and disassembly of materials for the extraordinary lighting in the upcoming Christmas and Kings Parties.
The document establishes that at least 44 streets of the urban center will have to be illuminated and that the whole installation must be made up of led lamps, thus complying with the Energy Efficiency Regulation.
Likewise, the structures of the luminous motifs must be of aluminum, to limit their weight and increase their safety.
The company must present the design for each of the streets and squares to be illuminated, which will have to be never seen in Murcia in the most emblematic roads of the city: Gran Vía, Calle Correos (Ceballos, Pintor Villacis, Isidoro de The Cierva, Plaza Cetina, Alejandro Séiquer, C / Merced and C / Puerta Nueva), Silverware and Trapería.
In addition, for the Gran Vía, the 27 arches to be installed must contain a minimum of 11,000 led lamps for each of the arches.
The lighting will be installed at Christmas and will remain lit until after Kings.
New sheet of extraordinary lighting for the next two years
On the other hand, the Board of Governors approved at its meeting today the specifications for the supply, under leasing, the design, installation, maintenance and dismantling of materials for extraordinary lighting in Spring Festivals, Fair Of Murcia and Christmas and Three Kings.
The document includes the need for the materials used to carry the latest technological innovations and certificates of energy consumption.
All the extraordinary lighting that is installed must be formed by led lamps and the structures of the luminous motives must be of aluminum, to limit their weight and increase their safety.
Likewise, the list includes the obligation for companies to have already worked this type of lighting in cities of more than 300,000 inhabitants.
The service will be provided in Spring Festival 2017 from Saturday April 15 until April 23;
And 2018 from March 31 to April 8;
Feria de Murcia 2017, from August 31 to September 11, and 2018, from August 30 to September 10;
And in Christmas Parties and Magi Kings 2017-18 and 2018-2019, from the first of December to the 6th of January of the following year.
The assembly will begin two weeks before the opening date of each party and will have to be completed two days before the opening of the lighting for the performance of the relevant tests
Tenderers must have at least one industrial technical engineer, one medium-degree graduate, one storage manager, 20 employees between drivers, electricians and assemblers, 12 lorries with elevator for the installation of extraordinary lighting, a maximum of 11 To 15 meters and 2 trucks with elevator of a maximum 20 meters
This contract includes the lighting of the most emblematic streets of the City (Gran Via, Old Post Office Street (Ceballos, Pintor Villacis, Isidoro de la Cierva, Plaza Cetina, Alejandro Séiquer, C / Merced, C / Puerta Nueva, ) Will install an exclusive model of new light that has never been installed in the national territory.
