The Plenum of the City of Murcia has unanimously approved the motion of Cambiemos Murcia, defended by Councilman Nacho Tornel, for the Department of Education to urge the Autonomous Community and the Government Delegation to dissolve the Patronage Francisco Franco and the transfer to the Consistory of the houses integrated in this entity.
At the proposal of the municipal groups, item 2 has been modified so that the assignment is conditional on a co-financing agreement between the central, regional and municipal administrations for the rehabilitation of the blocks.
Point 3 of the initiative, which urged the council to manage housing in a social rent once rehabilitated, has also gone ahead.
Likewise, Margarita Guerrero's proposal for the creation of a Municipal Commission to study and evaluate the implementation in the municipality of the European Charter for the Safeguarding of Human Rights in the City and the World Charter for Human Rights in the City.
The Charter aims to promote respect, protection and guarantee of fundamental rights and was drawn up in 2000 following a plural dialogue between European cities, representatives of civil society and experts convened following the conference "Cities for Rights Humans".
Also unanimously the Tornel initiative has gone ahead so that the City Council proceed to withdraw the advertising panels that correspond to private companies that do not comply with the ordinance on outdoor advertising in view of the proliferation of this type of advertisement on the public roads of many neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
The motion of Sergio Ramos so that the Government team of detailed information of the collection by IBI according to the typology of the houses and the zones, as well as reports on this subject, has been approved with some modifications.
However, the plenary has not given the green light to the motion of Cambiemos presented by Ramos for the maintenance of irrigation network of the orchard of Murcia, when approved an alternative of the PP, nor the one formulated by Tornel to urge groups of Congress To approve the non-law proposal presented by Unidos Podemos for the exemption from the IRPF of the aids for the rehabilitation of the habitual residence coming from local entities.
