The fourth year student of Political Science Francisco Alonso Alcalde has been elected president of CEUM, the highest student representation body of the University of Murcia.
Minerva Picón Ibáñez (Biochemistry), vice president, will also be part of the CEUM management team;
Javier Ager Solano (Faculty of Economics), vice president of the Espinardo campus, and Frederic Munné Montero, (Vice-President) of the Merced campus.
The other members of the team are: Sara Quesada Molina (Secretary General), Jordán Lucas Cano (Vice President of Peripheral Campuses), Gabriel Lozano Reina (Treasurer), Borja Moreno Buendía (Voice of Communication) and Román Martynenko (Vocalía de Relaciones Internacionales).
The new president, Francisco Alonso, has emphasized that among his objectives is working for the integration of the School of Nursing of Cartagena in the UMU.
He has also offered his collaboration and that of the other members of the Council in whatever claims the students may present.
On the other hand, he thanked the response given within the electoral process, to the point that his appointment was achieved in the first round.
