The Federation of Peñas Huertanas will organize, on Sunday, November 27, at the Teatro Romea, the representation of the Song to Murcia or La Parranda.

In order to maintain and preserve the traditions of the orchards, the tenor Carlos Moreno and the soprano Belén Ruipérez, together with the Lyric Association Friends of the Zarzuela of Abarán, will star in this zarzuela that will be musicalized by the Young Orchestra of Cieza and in which they will dance The peñas La Parra and L'Artesa.

The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, directed by Jesús Pacheco, has scheduled two passes, at 17:30 and 21 hours and tickets cost 8, 12 and 15 euros.

La Parranda, which premiered for the first time in Murcia in February 1929, is one of the themes of the zarzuela with music by Francisco Alonso and libretto by Luis Fernández Ardavin.
