The problem of inequality and poverty through the impact of social diseases, such as malaria and tuberculosis, will be the central theme of the lecture that the Italian professor Lucia Pozzi will offer tomorrow at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia (UMU), on the campus of Espinardo.
Professor Pozzi, from the University of Sassari, will offer the conference from 12:00 hours in the center, in an event organized by Professor Angel Pascual Martínez Soto.
The lecturer will also analyze the relationships established between nutrition and infection in malnutrition and poverty environments in the case of one of the less developed regions of Italy during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
