The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, directed by Jesús Pacheco, through Murcia Tourism Convention Bureau, has launched a national campaign to promote the city of Murcia for the bridges and weekends of November and December.
The objective is to attract tourists from neighboring communities "by publicizing the main tourist and cultural attractions of the city of Murcia and the tourist package that, from 80 euros for two people, includes two nights hotel with breakfast, Murcia Tourist Card Card, a guided tour of the city and an experience in different places in the Region of Murcia, "explained Pacheco.
The campaign is being carried out in different media, both print and radio, nationally and in social networks and digital media, with a campaign of promotion on Facebook through banners and a drawing of a weekend Murcia Pack in the near future To the bridge in the communities of Madrid, Alicante and Albacete.
It is also being developed in On-line Travel Agencies (the so-called OTAs) with different actions in Logitravel.com and Rumbo.es
This offer also allows one of the five experiences in different points of tourist interest in the Region such as diving in Cabo de Palos, rafting on the Segura river, visit to La Unión Mining Park, wine route and tasting in the Museum Of the Bullas wine and thermal offer in the Balneario de Archena
This campaign is being marketed differently according to criteria defined by two different target groups:
- Target senior in which it is being highlighted that, by hiring the two hotel nights for two people, you can choose an experience in the Wine Museum and in the Balneario de Archena
- Familiar target, in which it is emphasized that by contracting the two hotel nights for two people, you can choose the Rafting experience for the Segura River and the Minas de la Unión
