The University of Murcia (UMU), through the Vice-rectorate of Economics, Infrastructures and Health Sciences, has implemented a series of measures to improve the separation of waste from its centers and dependencies.
Starting next January, the service of selective collection of waste, within the slogan "Recycle 100%" will be reinforced.
Since that date, specialized personnel of the company awarded the cleaning service will collect and separate the contents of the bins and containers located in the corridors of various university buildings.
The purpose of these actions is to check the level of waste separation and improve the recycling process.
This initiative will be implemented in principle at the Azarbe High School and in buildings such as Convalecencia, Rector Soler, Luis Vives and Giner de los Ríos, as well as in different faculties of the Merced and Espinardo campuses.
