The University of Murcia (UMU) has begun to carry out the necessary electrical installation works so that students can connect their electrical appliances in classrooms.
This action, promoted by the Vice-Chancellor of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences, responds to the current needs of students, who increasingly use the new technologies during classes.
The works, which began a few days ago, are held in the General Aulario, Aulario Norte and Ainario Giner de los Ríos, as well as in the faculties of Biology, Economics and Business, Fine Arts and Sociosanitary Sciences, the latter in The campus of Lorca.
On the other hand, the project for the installation of new lighting in the General Library on the Espinardo campus, which involves the replacement of fluorescent lamps with LED technology luminaires, will improve the energy efficiency of this building.
