This information action will last until November 25.
During these two weeks a team of the Department will visit with the mobile information point weekly markets of different districts of the municipality closest to the areas of orchard and its surroundings.

The municipal initiative for the dissemination of the Land Bank that started today was presented last Thursday by Councilor for Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, along with Councilors of Commerce and Employment, Maruja Pelegrín and Jesus Pacheco, respectively.
The Council also plans to hold meetings with the municipalities to explain the contents of the Land Bank and collect their suggestions and sign collaboration agreements to conduct courses and training activities with the Colleges of Agricultural Engineers and Agricultural Technical Engineers, and is going to With the participation of the Junta de Hacendados and the Association ASAJA.
The Bank of Lands of the Huerta de Murcia is a management system that is part of the Plan of Action of the Orchard of Murcia and whose purpose is to avoid abandonment of cultivated land, recovering its productive capacity and favoring the socioeconomic development of The Huerta de Murcia through a socially and environmentally sustainable model.
With this system will be contacted owners of cropland in disuse and people interested in leasing them for cultivation.
