38 students who currently attend the Mixed Employment and Training Program for Seniors (PMEF-MY) in the specialties of Kitchen, Bar and Cafeteria and Pastry and Confectionery, can expand their training thanks to an agreement of the Governing Board.
The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture seeks to promote the insertion of these students, over the age of 35, in the labor market and promote the creation of employment projects, through self-employment or business creation.
Participants will thus be able to know how to carry out a business idea, what are the tools to manage a small business and how to plan in their areas of business, marketing and product sales.
In this way they will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge to start up and manage a business.
Among the objectives of the PMEF-MY is to train unemployed people in the tourism sector, more specifically in the hospitality sector, where professionals are currently demanded and is one of the most active sectors in the generation of economy and job creation in the Region of Murcia.
