With more than thirty activities dedicated to all audiences, the Catholic University of Murcia will approach from Friday to Sunday, science to society in the Week of Science and Technology, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism , Enterprise and Innovation of the Region and the Seneca Foundation, installed in the Botanic Garden of the Malecón.
The activities will be directed by undergraduate students in Communication, Dentistry, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Architecture and Building Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Food, Languages, Teaching, Pharmacy, Physical Activity and Sports Science or The Center for High Performance Sports, who will show science, adapting it to children and adults.

To encourage participation in Science Week, attendees will be able to pick up at the UCAM's institutional stand their 'Scientific Passport', with which they can obtain prizes while they learn science.
Participants must seal this passport in at least six activities carried out in the different stands of the University.
Once completed, it will be delivered to receive a prize.
Health and Wellness Area
Among the activities programmed by the University, attendees will have the opportunity to be 'Doctors for a Day' diagnosing a patient a disease and creating treatment strategies, among other possibilities, through the Body Interact clinical reasoning table.
In addition, you can also prepare a master cosmetic formula, such as a hand cleansing gel, which the attendees can take as a gift.
With regard to food-related activities, participants will be able to learn about the consumers' false food myths about certain products, among other activities.
3D printers, robots and drones
In another of the stands of the academic institution, attendees will be able to see firsthand the possibilities offered by drones in the world of architecture, parralo that will have a dron equipped with a camera that can be piloted in a flight simulator.
Science Week will not lack 3D printing, hand in hand with the Degree in Engineering in Telecommunication Systems of the Catholic, which will teach attendees how to make a home printer three-dimensional.
Another of the activities will be the manufacture of robots and scanning day.
In it, the participants will know the use and applications of robotics in various real life tasks, and will be able to assemble their own robot with Lego.
In addition, the first to solve an enigma will be given their bust in 3D.
In this way, the UCAM has created activities for all the public taking the "My City" workshop, where the smallest, advised by students of architecture, will be able to build urban environments to later visualize them in virtual reality.

Radio and live sport
UCAM's university radio station, iRadio, will produce from Science Week some of its programs, with special participation of the attending public, who will be able to intervene in the same and know how a program is performed.
