The coordination and collaboration between the City and the Autonomous Community makes it possible to reinforce the system of professional, permanent and integral attention in the municipality for women who are victims of gender violence.
Among other aspects, this cooperation allows the maintenance of a protection and assistance mechanism through the Emergency Psychosocial Care Unit (UPSE) of the City Council, which provides a service of accompaniment and psychological care in emergency situations.
It is a resource that is in active form on 24-hour guards, all weekends and holidays of the year, and, from Monday to Friday, when they are claimed by 112. This unit made in 2015 a total of 20 assists, while in 2016 33 interventions have been recorded for the moment.
The collaboration between the City Council, through the councils of Social Rights and Traffic and Security and Citizen Protection, and the Autonomous Community, through the Department of Family and Equal Opportunities, is covered by an agreement that improves coverage for The victims of gender violence.

Police resources and social services
