The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco has attended the inauguration of the Chair of Entrepreneurs for entrepreneurship students at the University of Murcia.
Through this initiative the University of Murcia, in collaboration with the Center for Municipal Initiatives (CIM-M) under the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, will offer information, training and advice to potential entrepreneurs through different actions.
In this way, the entrepreneurial students will participate in some talks in which staff of the Chair of Entrepreneurs, external professionals, CIM-M staff and entrepreneurs housed in CIM-M will give them information on different aspects such as' Creativity and generation of business ideas according to degrees ',' Identifying the business model, 'Carrying out the business plan' or 'Entrepreneur tools: online presence, effective presentations, teamwork, management skills'.
Likewise, a competition of ideas for potential entrepreneurs has been called, in which students who want to develop entrepreneurial initiatives, can attend the same presenting their business plan and business model.
The deadline for submitting projects ends on December 7 and in it applicants have to include their business plan with the idea of ​​business, market and marketing of the product or service, development and launch of the product or service, the Business model and financing and expected return.
The competition will have a first prize (with an endowment of 1,000 euros) and up to a maximum of two prizes (with an endowment of 250 euros each).
The winner will also be offered the opportunity to become a member of the CIMM.
