The traditional floral offering to the Virgin of the Fuensanta by the sports family of the Catholic University of Murcia has counted on the participation of about 800 representatives of the own equipment and sponsored by the UCAM as well as of some individual athletes, Federations or sports events that are linked to the educational institution.

José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, José Manuel Lorca Planes, bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Luis Emilio Pascual, senior chaplain of UCAM and UCAM Murcia CB, and Pablo Rosique, director general of Sports of The UCAM.

The different athletes and teams of the University have been handing one by one a bouquet of flowers to the Virgin of the Fuensanta as a symbol of the commitment they acquire to compete this season respecting the norms and fulfilling the values ​​of the University and asking to have a Season clean of serious injuries.

As usual, one of the images of the act has been carried out by the youngest athletes, members of the UCAM sport quarry, who have had the opportunity to participate in this wreath with athletes consolidated in their respective disciplines as the Players of the professional teams of football and basketball or the motorcycling pilots, Juanfran Guevara and Ana Carrasco.
