3,374 people left the unemployment rolls in the last year in the municipality of Murcia, representing a decrease of 8.76%, and the unemployed population stands right now in 35,145 people.
"It's a good thing that reinforces our confidence that we work in the right direction," said Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco.
Regarding last September, the figure also shows a positive balance, a decrease of 157 people.
In 2015, however, the trend was reversed.
The difference between the months of September and October last year recorded 215 people who lost their jobs.
"It is essential to maintain the trend of employment growth and outrun the months that offered some statistics on destruction of jobs and growth of the unemployment lists" says Pacheco, who warns that "satisfaction can not be complete as long as there murcianos in looking for a job. "
