The rector of the University of Murcia (UMU), José Orihuela, today opened the First International Conference of Young Researchers in Theatre Studies, which takes place on the campus of Merced until Friday.
The purpose of the conference, promoted by predoctoral students and new doctors and doctors of the UMU, is to promote the encounter between the different aspects of theater studies and promote dialogue among young researchers in this field.
The organization of this Congress has had the collaboration of the Vice President of Communication and Culture, the Faculty of Arts and the School of Dramatic Art of Murcia.
In the opening ceremony they were also attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Pascual Cantos;
the director of the School, Sonia Murcia, and the organizers of the meeting, the research fellows Alba Saura and Isabel Guerrero.
