An exhibition on 'The footprint of Alfonso X', organized on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the Council of Murcia, will travel to a total of eight cultural centers of the municipality during the next months.
The first to welcome it will be the cultural center of Monteagudo that tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, at 20 pm, will open the exhibition, which is an adaptation for cultural centers of the exhibition in the Almudí on the '750th Anniversary of the Council of Murcia' and in which four panels that refer to the footprint of Alfonso X in the hamlet of Monteagudo are included.
The opening will be accompanied by a conference on 'Alfonso X and Council of Murcia, headed by Professor of Medieval History at the University of Murcia, Francisco Veas, thus ushering in a series of activities.
Thursday, 3, 10 to 13.30 hours, will be a guided tour of the route of the medieval palaces of Monteagudo, departing from the Visitor Center, which will be repeated on Thursday, November 10, 16 to 19.30 hours.
On Friday 4th at 18:30 pm and held guiad a visit to the exhibition, while on Friday 11 November, at 21 am, the folk music group will perform some Túa Cantigas de Santa Maria and other songs.
Monday 7 and 14 November, 18 to 20 hours, is scheduled activity 'Following in the footsteps of Alfonso X' and a workshop on heritage and geolocation.
Then the sample will visit the districts of Espinardo (from 29 November to 16 December), Churra (from 12 to 24 January), Zarandona (from January 31 to February 10), Santa Cruz (from 21 February to 3 March), Corvera (from 14 to 24 March), Javalí Nuevo (April 25 to May 5) and El Palmar (from 16 to 26 May).
