The Regional Park Valley host on Saturday November 19 Anibal Race, the second edition presented this morning Felipe Coello, Councillor for Sports and Health, and Juan Manuel Molina, President of the Athletics Federation of Murcia, in Sovisa facilities, official sponsor of the test.
Stresses in the race the spirit of sacrifice and effort of all participants, along with one of the main objectives of the competition, which is to present the natural and historical sites throughout the world of "running", linking it with the presence Hannibal Barca had in the region during the second and first centuries BC
Thus, both participants and those interested in the event can rich culture and biodiversity that provide natural spaces through which passes the race.
The sporting event consists of 3 races:
Anibal Epic Trail: half marathon mountain.
21 kilometers and 1,000 meters of altitude accumulated in mountain terrain, walking paths, trails and cross country.
Anibal Urban: 8 km race.
Runs outside the boundaries of the Regional Park, featuring hills, gardens or stairs on a mixed urban layout, asphalt and dirt.
Anibal Kids: race up running for ages 4-15 years in the streets adjacent to Verdolay Sports Center, with different categories and distances according to age.
