Universities of Murcia (UMU) and National Agriculture of Honduras have signed a partnership agreement under the Erasmus Mundus project Southern Cross "Strengthening the internationalization of the university to achieve comprehensive development in Latin America."
Southern Cross is coordinated by the University of Murcia and allows students, teachers and administrative staff of this study or training visits to partner universities of the project in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Panama and Uruguay.
The project provides 194 mobilities, 142 from Latin America to Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland and Latvia, with an academic program that includes scholarships undergraduate, master, doctorate, among others.
The letter of intent was signed at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UMU by the rector of the same, José Orihuela, and academic vice chancellor of the Honduran institution, Carlos Manuel Ulloa, in the presence of the dean of the center, Gaspar Ros.
