Tomorrow Friday, October 21, students of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation made a novel viral journalism project on line in which the Mayor, José Ballesta, the councilors of the government team and the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, will have great prominence
Thus, on the occasion of the celebration of the University Welcome UMU, students of the Junior Company of Communication and Information (Judoc) will cover the whole day exclusively using social networks and mobile devices.
The communication plan will be divided into two time periods: morning, students will follow the institutional agenda of the Mayor, José Ballesta, councilors and José Orihuela, current Rector of the University of Murcia, while afternoon and evening will perform acoustic-interviews with two groups of the region in the Plaza de Santo Domingo and attend the concert of the Hives, Second and Varry Brava in the Plaza de Toros.
Students will use Facebook as a tool for audiovisual live content and Twitter and Instagram as visual means to continue today.
The hashtag chosen and that will accompany any shared content will be #MurciaEnDirecto.
With this campaign the university intended to show the current capacity of the new mobile, capable technologies become a means of social communication.
