The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the operation 'KANFRI', an investigation aimed at locating and arrest of a Moroccan citizen, wanted internationally for justice in Morocco, as the alleged leader of a criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking, who has been arrested and made available to the Spanish justice for his extradition.
The performances began last August, when the Civil Guard received a request for cooperation in which, through Interpol, judicial authorities in Morocco interested in the location and extradition of a fugitive, wanted by drug trafficking offenses.
The first investigations carried out by researchers has revealed that the suspect also had a history in Spain for the alleged commission of crimes of drug trafficking and robbery with violence and intimidation.
In view of this information, the Meritorious focused research in a neighborhood of the village of El Palmar Murcia, where there were suspicions of their location.
The researchers found that the suspect had taken up residence in this town, where, protected by compatriots, trying to hide and evade justice.
