The University of Murcia (UMU), through Sustainable Campus, has proceeded to the award by drawing lots from a total of 44 ecological plots in Espinardo and whose recipients are students, teachers and administrative staff and services.

The award is for two growing seasons and have had the same preference those users who had not participated so far in this project.

The plots have about twenty square meters and feature a watering point.

28 of them are in the Plaza of Sustainability, and the other 16, near the Faculty of Medicine places.

The Technical Unit of the UMU provides users with the basic tools needed for cultivation.
