The Department of Public Works, who heads Roque Ortiz, will work in the coming months on improving lighting Alicante Road and Rail Garrofero in El Esparragal.

This project will involve the installation of new LED luminaire type with greater visibility and lower consumption.

Carretera de Alicante, passing by the El Esparragal, has currently with only 8 points of light and lacks this service at an approximate length of 450 meters, so a total of 23 new points will be installed, with a total power of 2,277 W.

The current consumption in the Carretera de Alicante, with 8 points of light 165W power, is 4,800 kwh annually.

23 points to install will generate electric power consumption of 5,100 kwh, representing nearly triple points of light (23 vs. 8 and 250 m. Illuminated before facing 700 m. Illuminated later) only mean an increase consumption of 6%.

Lane Garrofero not currently available for public lighting and he plans to install 12 new points, with a total power of 516 W.
