Thursday September 13 a new extraordinary conference of the International University of the Sea Entitled "On the Quijote and other books, the writer Julio Llamazares held in Lorca, will speak at a symposium he will be moderated by Professor of the University of Murcia José Belmonte.
The event is part of the programming of the International University of the Sea at the Cultural Center of Lorca, C / Priest Emilio Garcia, and access is free to fill seats.
Considered one of the most lyrical voices of the Spanish narrative, Julio Llamazares, it has an extensive bibliography that extends from the early 80s and in citing novels like "Wolf Moon" or "Yellow Rain" are given, books of short stories: "the sky of Madrid", "Different ways of looking at the water," essay books that collect his extensive journalistic work, poetry, screenplays and travel books.
In his latest book, "The journey of Don Quixote," recounts one of the most popular trips in the history of world literature, the Knight of the Sorrowful Countenance, departing from Madrid to enter through La Mancha, Sierra Morena, Zaragoza Barcelona, ​​in some destinations where the hamburger coexist with the old sales.
Of Don Quixote and other books will treat his talk at the Universidad Internacional del Mar.
