Dr. Maria Dolores Romero Caballero, Area Medical Specialist in Ophthalmology General Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía, has won the First Prize Special Dry Eye in the National Competition 2016 Ocular Surface.

Romero, associate professor of the University of Murcia (UMU), along with the MIR in Ophthalmology Alicia Guardiola and Ignacio Lozano, presented in that event the clinical case "Evaporative dry eye in Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia."

The Ocular Surface Contest, held in the city of Malaga, is part of the National Congress of the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology program.
