The next Monday, October 3, at 19:30 pm in the auditorium of the University of Murcia (Campus de la Merced) will be held a talk with Mr. Arturo Perez-Reverte Gutiérrez, writer and academician of the Royal Spanish Academy.
This is a scheduled activity within the cycle "Rector Seminars" which has attracted the UMU prominent personalities from the field of culture, university management or volunteering among others.
The author of "The Club Dumas", "The Flanders Panel," "The Nautical Chart", "The Queen of the South", "Skin Drum" and many other novels, will discuss his work and his literary ideas together to Rector José Orihuela, Jose Sebastian Carrion, Advisor to the Rector of the UMU University Policy and professor José Belmonte Serrano, professor of Teaching Language and Literature at the University of Murcia and expert on the work of the Carthaginian writer.
Also, at 11.00 am, it will be signed in the building of the Rectory (Convalescence) Cajamurcia an agreement with the Foundation for the creation of the Chair Arturo Perez-Reverte, a space devoted entirely to research, training and dissemination in the field of Spanish and Latin American Literature and the work of Arturo Perez-Reverte with the participation of both teachers and university students, and professionals.
The agreement was coordinated by Francisca Tomás Alonso, Vice Chancellor Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment, and the event will be present the writer himself.
