Twelve performers will participate in the semifinals of Songwriters CreaMurcia municipal contest to be held tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, from 22 am in La Puerta Falsa, with free access.

The groups performing are:

-Thursday: ÁLVARO SOLER, HITARRA & VINEGAR, and YOLANDA GARCIA MIGUEL MENATRE

-Friday: FCO PEDRO, LOS CIGALICOS, INGRID Mairlot and EDU MART�NEZ

-Saturday: ARABELLA, ELIANA POVEDA, GINÉS GUZMAN AND PIANISSIMO

Singer-songwriters have been selected from a total of 72 participants.

In the semifinals three groups that the final will be played, on 28 October, at 20.00 in Teatro Circo Murcia, with performances by El Kanka as guest artist will be chosen.

The jury will deliver a first prize of 1,500 euros, second prize of 800 euros and third prize of 500 euros.

In addition to recording a promotional CD.

The jury is chaired by the Councillor for Youth and Development Cooperation, formed by Rebeca Perez and Jose Angel Albarracín, Clara Castillo, David Martinez, Manuel Sotomayor and Juan Albaladejo (as secretary).

CreaMurcia Municipal Contest is sponsored by the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, who heads Rebeca Perez.
