Councilman Let's change Murcia Nacho Tornel take tomorrow the full City Council a motion that the structure of the Museum of the City renewed and ascribes to its competence management other small centers such as interpretation, visitors and others whose new creation is planned.
Tornel explained that this action must start from the Working Group on Culture of the City, which has not been called so far by the council in the industry although its constitution was approved by the plenary months at the request of opposition groups.
According Tornel, if the proposal goes ahead it could consolidate the existing museum as a generator and organizer of various cultural tours, unify and improve the conditions of the companies in charge of the various services and assume the consolidation of staff, among other actions.
In addition, the mayor asked that the Working Group consider the redeployment of human and material resources with a commitment to define a concrete proposal that is the subject of discussion and approval at the appropriate instance.
