With regard to the Protocol of Accession of the city of Murcia to the "Convention for the exchange of information and mutual administrative cooperation" signed on Wednesday September 14, 2016 between the provincial traffic and the city of Murcia and at information which appeared in different media, citing sources in the Consistory, the Provincial Traffic Headquarters said that the agreement will, among other things, that the city communicate directly to the DGT those address changes affecting driving licenses and movement without the driver having to move to the DGT.
However, any other action concerning new acquisition, low or change of ownership of a vehicle, the person concerned must itself be performed in person at the offices of the provincial traffic, contrary to what was published.
With the signing of the last accession, the 45 municipalities in the region have signed this agreement between the Central Traffic Headquarters Agency and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces as of March 15, 2006.
