Social Rights provides care and support to 80 people with Spina Bifida and their families AMUPHEB Association (10/09/2016)

The Governing Board, through the Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz has given the green light to the grant of 8,000 euros for the Murcian Association of Parents and Children with Spina Bifida (AMUPHEB) for the care and support 80 people with this disease and their families.

The Association will develop the project "Home Services and Support for Families with affected children Spina Bifida," which aims to provide care and direct and comprehensive psychosocial support at home for the dependent person and his family, preventing crises and / or impairments as well as educate the recovery of healthy lifestyles (personal hygiene, exercise, food, leisure time ...) and skills.

Thus, it promotes and guarantees the autonomy of the person concerned, in their usual way of life, facilitating integration and active participation in society, providing a service transitional housing, temporary rented adapted.
