The University of Murcia (UMU) has signed an agreement by which volunteer students of the institution participate in programs developed by the Association for the Integration of Persons with Intellectual Disability "CEOM".
UMU volunteers carry out tasks of support and assistance to users of the association and relatives of those in sports and cultural activities as well as entertainment and leisure.
This agreement is the result of University Volunteer Program Vice President for Student, directed by professor Carmen Ferrándiz.
Through it, the UMU provides training in values ​​of solidarity, justice, tolerance, understanding, commitment and respect, and provides tools to identify problems and needs of society.
