Councilman Let's change Murcia Sergio Ramos today criticized the attitude of "contempt" of the Minister of Youth, Rebeca Perez, as regards the implementation of the resolutions adopted in plenary, as is the case of the motion adopted on last November for the refounding of Local Youth Council.
Ramos explained that far from complying with this initiative and democratize the Council, making it more participatory, the Local Council is taking decisions as presented to contest the City to hire management La Nave, the third municipal center that could be managed by the Youth Center 585, Santa Maria de Gracia and the Youth Center of El Palmar, both awarded by direct subsidy without public tender.
According to the municipalist training, a local Council should not have among its main objectives to manage a public contract.
"A Council not facing its refounding not allowed to participate most young people and associations in the municipality intends to devote to managing the largest possible number of public facilities, without transparency or control".
From Let's change management we believe the Ship should be managed directly by the council, acometiéndose redistricting process and "to have the new local council as a partner when it ends its revival".
In addition, Ramos wondered what will happen if the Council can not cope with the management of facilities and activities carried out in them.
"We doubt that the Local Council has the technical and economic to handle a contract of this magnitude means," he concluded.
