Councillor of the Socialist Group, Begoña García Retegui, today criticized the lack of seriousness of the PP government team in the city of Murcia to addressing the problems of cultural and environmental heritage of the municipality.
And this, for taking isolated measures, "most seem to be characteristic of the policy of continuous ads to which we are accustomed Crossbow mayor of a serious and coordinated actions," the socialist mayor.
Remember that last August 11 the tender dossier Service Inventory processing buildings, located on site, archaeological sites and landscape units Heritage Garden and the Campo de Murcia elements was published.
According to Garcia Retegui, "given the characteristics of the study to contract, both the term and the amount seem quite insufficient for the magnitude and significance of the study on the future of heritage for the municipality of Murcia," so the PSOE calls for its withdrawal.
In this regard, the Socialist Group has sent a letter to the mayor to demand the implementation of the worktable for the study and appreciation of cultural heritage, passed unanimously by the House last May proposed Citizens .
A table in which, in addition to local political groups should participate expert associations and cultural organizations in heritage and defense of the orchard, and public universities.
In the letter the withdrawal of that tender dossier is also claimed.
"What makes no sense is that they have put out to tender this contract without having previously called the table in a major issue affecting the Culture, Heritage, Environment and Huerta," said the councilor.
The Socialist Party believes that any catalog or inventory containing all the elements of cultural, natural and landscape heritage, to be useful and intends to end the current situation of neglect and deterioration, must be accompanied by changes of land-use planning ( PGOU).
At this time, the General Plan is in the initial phase of review, approved by the House a proposal by the Socialist Party, "and we believe that the universities of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic should participate in the specifications of that contract to paddle all in the same direction".
These universities will be responsible for making the initial diagnostic study of the current General Plan.
